About the Role

Nupay Tech operates at the intersection of fraud prevention, AML compliance, and AI‑powered monitoring.
As our Tech Policy Manager, you will define how our technology aligns with regulations, ethics, and risk expectations across Nigeria, Africa, and diaspora markets.

This role shapes the policy frameworks that make our solutions secure, scalable, and audit‑friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop internal policies for AI governance, fraud monitoring, data use, and AML‑aligned controls.
• Translate regulatory expectations into practical product and operational requirements.
• Partner with engineers, data teams, and legal to ensure compliance‑by‑design across all solutions.
• Lead risk assessments and develop documentation for audits and enterprise clients.
• Establish standards for identity & access, incident response, data retention, and monitoring workflows.
• Evaluate new laws affecting AI, fintech, fraud prevention, and cross‑border data flows.
• Produce policy frameworks that support individuals, SMEs, and enterprise clients with different risk needs.
• Represent Nupay Tech in conversations with regulators, partners, and industry bodies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of fintech regulation, AML standards, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
• Experience writing policies, procedures, and risk control documentation.
• Ability to work across engineering, legal, compliance, and product teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
